Job Summary: We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Helper to assist in daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will support chefs and kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness, preparing basic ingredients, and ensuring smooth workflow in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, etc.)
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Support chefs and cooks during food preparation and service
Wash dishes, pots, and pans efficiently
Ensure proper storage of food items and supplies
Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness standards
Help in receiving and organizing deliveries
Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
10 hours duty timing
One day weekly off
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen or similar role (preferred but not mandatory)
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long hours
Team player with a positive attitude
Willingness to learn and take instructions
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Food safety or hygiene certification (e.g., HACCP) is an advantage
Experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering services
