Job description

1

Will be responsible for reliable shift operations – providing power clearances, condition monitoring, troubleshooting, Lock-out Tag-out of equipment & shift report preparation;2

Obtaining work permits & isolations for executing maintenance on any electrical equipment – history card / PM checklist updating after job completion;3

Procurement of spares, scheduling maintenance and job execution for the assigned equipment / area of the plant;4

Providing temporary electrical connections, inspection of temporary connections, daily routine monitoring of running equipment;5

Technical support, supervision and execution of jobs like transformer oil filtration, relay testing, meter calibration, thermography of feeders, illumination survey and earth pit measurement;6

Diligently following SOPs/SMPs, preparing JSA, providing tool box talk and allocation of technicians for planned jobs.7

Involvement in external and internal audits, compliance to audit observations within the deadline.8

Participation in safety and technical trainings; providing training to juniors and contractors to maintain safe workplace.Essential requirement of the positionExperience in operation & maintenance of electrical equipment like HT/LT switchgears, HT/LT/Lighting transformers, HT/LT motors, Capacitor banks, UPS/Battery chargers, VFDs, EDG, power/lighting distribution, earthing and lightning protection system from any reputed organization in India.Required Candidate profileQualification Criteria: Diploma in Electrical/Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized university / institute approved by AICTE or state board of technical education.Preference In Experience:Preferably worked in the maintenance department of any LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, fertilizer, power plants or any other hydrocardbon sector.Should have a valid C license (electrical supervisor license) issued by the electricity board in India.Note:1
