About the role:

We are looking for a Java Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the client. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the client end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

What You Need for this Position:

Proven hands-on Software Development experience

Proven working experience in Java development

Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms

Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)

Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)

Experience in the Spring Framework

Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)

Experience with test-driven development

What You Will Be Doing:

Hands-on experience in design and defining architecture of complex web based applications.

Building distributed application using Core JAVA, Spring, Spring boot.

Experience in ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.

Working experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB/Cassandra.

Hands-on experience on Microservices, REST.

Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, Github.

Knowledge of Cloud such as Amazon Web Services.

Hands-on knowledge of build tools like Maven, Gradle.

Experience working with Git, Junit, Mockito, JIRA and similar tools.

Experience on Apache Spark & other Machine Learning tools will be added advantage.

Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle

Write well designed, testable, efficient code

Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications

Prepare and produce releases of software components

Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
