About the company
This Budel-based organization operates in the roofing industry and focuses on both renovation and new construction projects. They work with various types of roofing, including bitumen, synthetic, and green roofs, and can be used on both flat and slightly sloped roofs.
The team consists of experienced professionals who enjoy hands-on work and working outdoors. The organization has an informal atmosphere with short lines of communication and clear agreements. Safety, craftsmanship, and reliability are paramount. Employees are given a great deal of independence and often work in small teams on diverse projects throughout the region.
About the position
In this challenging and varied role, you’ll be responsible for installing dormers, flat roofs, insulation, tiled roofs, chimneys, and solar panels. Together with your team, you’ll work towards a beautiful end result that will still be standing 80 years from now! The work is highly diverse, and no two days are the same! Furthermore, there’s a relaxed atmosphere where everyone works hard and laughs. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Engaging in various roof-related activities;
Repair and installation of solar panels, skylights, dormers, chimneys, tiled roofs and flat roofs;
Freeing roof battens, laying roof tiles, carpentry, details of connections and lead work;
Carrying out work within the set quality requirements;
Ensure good quality when carrying out the work;
Providing leadership to other colleagues.
What do we ask of you?
Preferably with a completed carpentry training;
A customer-friendly and service-oriented attitude;
Demonstrable experience as a roofer;
Quality of work is of paramount importance to you;
In possession of VCA or willing to obtain it;
You have good communication skills;
Possession of a B driving licence.
What do we offer you?
Salary €2,500 – €3,500
A long-term employment contract, with the prospect of a permanent position
Your salary is paid every week
27 vacation days + 13 ADV days
You will be working at a professional organization, with passionate people who care about you as a person
We can arrange Dutch health insurance for you, which we can deduct from your salary each week. The cost per week is €38.01.
We can provide a private bedroom in our FlexHero housing. The cost per week is €49.
