Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and organized Logistics Manager to oversee and manage the company’s supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics activities including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, and distribution
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability
Oversee warehouse operations, storage, and dispatch processes
Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Track shipments and resolve any delays or issues in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and safety standards
Analyze logistics performance metrics and prepare reports for management
Negotiate contracts and rates with transport providers and suppliers
Lead, supervise, and train logistics staff
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar supply chain role
Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation regulations
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Good communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management software/ERP systems
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Professional certifications (e.g., Supply Chain, Logistics, or Procurement) are an advantage
Experience in international shipping, import/export, and customs clearance
