Developing and maintaining WordPress websites and applications
Customizing WordPress themes and plugins to meet client needs
Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code
Troubleshooting and debugging code issues
Working closely with the design and project management teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to client specifications
Ensuring websites and applications are optimized for speed and performance
Keeping up-to-date with the latest WordPress developments and best practices
Communicating with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support when required
Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring web applications are search-engine friendly.
Proficient problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, PHP, Shopify, and related web development technologies.
Designing of landing page, doing PSD to html conversion, taking them live on web server.
Converting designs visualized in Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD etc. to standards compliant HTML/CSS.
Working closely with Project Managers on all aspects of design with responsibility for defining, capturing and documenting customer requirements, as well as planning and executing deliverables against the project plan.
Implementing PSD or Designs to WordPress Templates / Themes
Doing the website maintenance for existing clients and new ones.
If needed communicating with clients for changes in website, layout, bugs fixing and delivering the project.
Ability to develop and execute outstanding interactive design concepts.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
Pay close attention to details.
Skill Set
Strong Knowledge of PSD to Html Conversion is required
Good understanding of web accessibility considerations, web standard and SEO.
Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3, Bootstrap, Responsive Designs, Java scripts, jQuery, SCSS/SASS is required
A passion for UI development, responsive web designs and the ability to relay this passion to colleagues and clients.
Should have hands on experience in technologies like WordPress, PHP.
Must be able to work on own initiative
Bootstrap 4, 5 frameworks
Knowledge of latest online trades.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
At least 12 years of experience in PHP web development, with a focus on WordPress
Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with MySQL and database design
Familiarity with Git and version control systems
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
