SENIOR QA ENGINEER
Job Overview 
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is a subject matter expert on all products with the ability to collaborate with and act as a liaison to multiple and diverse business groups and technology teams. In this role you will have the ownership to identify and document issues and provide recommendations and daily progress updates to the Director of Technology Implementation.  You will have the authority to identify, overcome and report obstacles.  In this role you will lead in the quality control efforts of the applications.  You will participate in technology and/ or business projects and play an important role for implementing a good quality product.  If you’re excited to be part of a winning team, we have great place to grow your career.
Responsibilities
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test matrices based on the functional requirements outlined in Jira to identify systems’ problems
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Execute test plans using various testing methods, levels, and objectives
Design, develop and execute automated scripts for backend testing and report generation using open-source tools
Identify, analyze, record, document, and track bugs via Jira or similar bugs reporting tools
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Monitor debugging process results
Work directly with the development QA team for clarification, testing and reporting
Work with the technical project manager and the account and business teams to review testing plans, testing progress, results, and next steps
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements and skills 
Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in software web and mobile development and testing
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience with automated testing tools
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel
Experience with JIRA or similar tools is required
Good oral and written English communication skills
Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Multinational experience is preferable
Flexible to work in day or night shift as required to synchronize with international clients’ time zones
Flexible to work remotely or f2f as required
